Tar Heels Compete In Stage II of LPGA Qualifying School

VENICE, Fla. – Leslie Cloots, Catherine O'Donnell, Maia Schechter and Katherine Perry will partake in Stage II of the LPGA Qualifying school starting Thursday. Cloots, a current member of the UNC women's golf team, plans on completing her collegiate career and competing on the Symetra Tour after graduation, but her success in Q-school will bolster her status on the Symetra Tour.
Stage II of the LPGA Qualifying School will be played at the Plantation Golf & Country Club in Venice, Fla. The competition includes 72 holes of stroke play. The top 80 and ties will qualify for Stage III of LPGA Qualifying School in late November. Stage II has a 193-player field.
