A Couple Tar Heels Advance Through Q-School Stage II

VENICE, Fla. – Maia Schechter and Katherine Perry advanced to Stage III of the LPGA Qualifying school after placing in the top 80 in Stage II this weekend. Schechter finished tied for 19th while Perry tied for 73rd.

Schechter and Perry both were in position to qualify after three rounds and held their ground in the final round to qualify. Leslie Cloots and Catherine O'Donnell missed the top 80 and will not compete in Stage III. Cloots finished tied for 85th just one stroke behind the cut. O'Donnell finished tied for 127th.
