University of North Carolina Athletics

Congratulations To Our December Graduates!
December 21, 2016 | Academics
Carolina Athletics congratulates the Tar Heel student-athletes who earned their undergraduate degrees this fall, many of whom participated in commencement ceremonies on Sunday. Throughout their time at UNC, they've displayed grit and perseverance, balancing the demands of competing in a Division I varsity sport while working toward a degree from an academically rigorous university.
In addition to the many hours spent studying for their classes and competing in their sports, the group has devoted hundreds of hours to community outreach and leadership training, and has been active in a range of campus activities including student government and the Honors Carolina program.
Best wishes to the new graduates!
