Perry To Play For LPGA Tour Card Tomorrow

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Former Tar Heel Katherine Perry qualified for the final round of the LPGA and Symetra Tour Qualifying School – Stage III following a 1-under par 71 on Saturday. Perry is now 3-under for the tournament and is tied for 23rd.
Tomorrow, she tees off at 9:28 a.m. from first tee on the Hills Course. If she comes in the top 20, she'll receive a full LPGA Tour card for next year. Positions 21-45 will receive a partial card.
Casey Grice and Maia Schechter both failed to make the cut, but will obtain Symetra Tour cards as a result of finishing four rounds of play. Schechter shot a 1-over 73 and finished the tournament at 8-over in a tie for 111th. Grice shot a 3-over 75 and finished at 9-over in a tie for 117th.
