Tar Heels and Davidson Meet for 76th Time
• Carolina plays host to Davidson on Wednesday, December 7th, at 9 p.m.
• The game will be televised by ESPN2.
• The Tar Heels are ranked No. 7 by the Associated Press poll and No. 5 by USA Today/Coaches.
• Carolina and Davidson both played on Sunday, 12/4. UNC beat Radford, 95-50. Davidson lost to the College of Charleston, 76-61.
• The Tar Heels are 64-11 against Davidson, including a 98-65 win at the Smith Center on 12/6/15.
• Carolina has won seven in a row in the series since Davidson beat the Tar Heels on 11/20/2011.
• The 64 wins are the eighth most by UNC over any opponent and the second most by UNC against a non-current member of the ACC. UNC has 123 wins over Maryland with most of those victories coming while the Terps were a member of the ACC.
• Nate Britt (17) and Justin Jackson (15) led five Tar Heels in double figures in last year's game, a 98-65 UNC win.
• Kennedy Meeks had 10 rebounds.
• The Tar Heels shot 50 percent from the floor and held the Wildcats to 8 of 34 shooting (.235) in the opening 20 minutes as UNC built a 47-24 advantage.
• Two years ago, Meeks had 19 points and 12 rebounds and freshman Justin Jackson scored 18 in a 90-72 Tar Heel victory in Charlotte.
Recapping Radford
• Carolina held Radford to 50 points and 30.6 percent shooting from the floor, both season lows by an opponent this year.
• The 45-point margin of victory is UNC's largest of the season.
• The Tar Heels held the Highlanders to 25.7 percent from the floor in the second half, lowest in a half by an opponent this year.
• Radford scored 27 points in the first half and 23 in the second, the first time UNC has held an opponent under 30 points in both halves this year.
• The Tar Heels shot 52.3 percent from the floor, the fourth time in nine games this year the Tar Heels have shot 50 percent.
• The Tar Heels tied their season high with nine three-point field goals (also in the season opener at Tulane).
• The Tar Heels made six of their first 10 3FG attempts.
• The Tar Heels had a 52-29 advantage on the boards. That's the fourth game this year with at least 50 rebounds. The 52 rebounds ties UNC's season high with the games against Tulane and Chaminade.
• The Tar Heels had a 26-5 edge in points off turnovers.
• Joel Berry II sprained his left ankle early in the second half and did not return to the lineup. He played just 13 minutes today and had five points and four assists.
• Freshman Seventh Woods played a season-high 22 minutes at the point and scored a season-high nine points and had one assist and five turnovers.
• Sophomore Kenny Williams scored a career-high 19 points (16 in the first half) and set a career high with five three-point field goals.
• It was the second time Williams scored in double figures as a Tar Heel. He had 11 vs. Chattanooga on 11/13/16.
• Williams is the first Tar Heel to make five threes in a game this year and the first since Marcus Paige made six against Indiana in the 2016 NCAA Sweet 16.
• Kennedy Meeks had 13 points and nine rebounds. It was the eighth straight game Meeks has scored in double figures (longest streak in his career).
• Tony Bradley posted his second double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
• Justin Jackson led UNC with six assists. It was the second time in four games he had six assists.
• Luke Maye grabbed a career-high six rebounds.

• Carolina is shooting 50.6 percent from the floor and holding the opponents to 37.3 percent.
• The Tar Heels have not shot 50 percent from the floor over a season since 1997-98.
• Carolina has not held the opponents to a lower field goal percentage over a season since the 1956-57 season when the opponents converted 35.2 percent of its field goal attempts.
• Carolina has shot better than 50 percent from the floor in 10 of 18 halves this season and better than 60 percent three times.
• Isaiah Hicks leads the Tar Heels in field goal percentage at .653. Freshman Tony Bradley is second at .635.
• Carolina is fourth in the nation in scoring margin and seventh in points per game.
