Softball Monday Night Clinics to Begin Sept. 12

CHAPEL HILL - Back by popular demand, the North Carolina softball coaching staff will once again host Monday night clinics throughout the fall. Associate head coach Mary Jo Firnbach and assistant coach Chelsey Barclay will hold a pair of one-hour sessions each week for players grades 6-12.
The clinics will begin on Sept. 12, and continue every Monday through Nov. 21, with the exception of Nov. 7. The hitting session (max. 20 participants) will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m, while the pitching session (max. 10 participants) will go from 7:35 p.m. to 8:35 p.m.
The clinics will be held in two five-week sessions, with participants having the option to sign up for the first session (Sept. 12-Oct. 10), the second session (Oct. 17-Nov. 21) or both. The cost to attend either the hitting or the pitching clinic is $250 for a five-week session or $400 for the full 10 weeks. Both clinics are open to all players from grades 6-12.
