• Carolina takes to the road for the seventh time in ACC play and the 10th time overall this year on Wednesday, February 15th, at NC State. Game time at PNC Arena is 8 p.m.
• The Tar Heels are 5-4 on the road this year, including 3-3 in the ACC (wins at Clemson, Wake Forest and Boston College; losses at Georgia Tech, Miami and Duke).
• Roy Williams is 73-41 in ACC road games in 14 years. That percentage of .640 is the second-highest in ACC history (Vic Bubas won 66.7 percent of Duke's ACC road games from 1960-69).

• The Tar Heels are 21-5 overall and 9-3 in the ACC. NC State is 14-12, 3-10.
• This is the first time since 2007 the Tar Heels have played at Duke and NC State in consecutive games. In 2007, the Tar Heels lost in Raleigh, then beat Duke in Durham five days later.
• UNC is ranked 10th in the Associated Press and ninth in the USA Today/Coaches polls. The AP poll has included Carolina in the top 10 in 12 of the 15 polls this season.
• The coaches poll has ranked the Tar Heels higher than the AP poll in each of the last four weeks.
• Carolina has won 20 or more games for the 59th time in school history and the 13th time in 14 years under head coach Roy Williams.
• Carolina is eighth in the NCAA's RPI. The Tar Heels' opponents collectively have the 10th-highest RPI in the nation.
• Carolina has eight wins (8-2) over teams in the NCAA's top 50, tied with Florida State (8-2), Kansas (8-1), Villanova (8-1) for second behind Baylor (10-3) for the most top-50 wins in the country.
• Carolina has 12 wins (12-5) over teams in the NCAA's top 100, tied for the sixth most in the country.
• The Tar Heels have scored at least 1.00 points per possession in seven of the last 10 games (UNC goal is .85 or above).

– In the first 18 games, UNC held the opponents under 45 percent shooting from the floor 14 times; Tennessee and Kentucky were the only teams to shoot 50 percent from the floor.
– In the last eight games, UNC has held three teams under 45 percent and Virginia Tech, Pitt and Duke shot over 50 percent.
– In the first 17 games, 12 opponents committed more turnovers than assists and only two had more assists than turnovers.

CAROLINA-NC STATE SERIES
• The Tar Heels lead the series with NC State, 154-77, winning 20 of the last 22 games.
• UNC has won 26 of the last 29 and 43 of its last 53 games against NC State.
• Carolina is 13-4 against NC State in the building currently named PNC Arena. That includes an 11-2 record under Roy Williams.
• Carolina is 17-4 overall in PNC Arena – that includes NCAA Tournament wins over Mt. St. Mary's and Arkansas in 2008 and Florida Gulf Coast and Providence in 2016.
• Roy Williams is 31-3 as a head coach against NC State, including a 5-0 record at Kansas and a 26-3 mark at Carolina.

• The 51-point win was Carolina's largest margin of victory since a 68-point win over UNC Asheville (116-48) on 11/30/2008.
• It was the first win by 50 or more points since a 99-49 win over Nicholls on 12/19/2011.
• UNC tied its season high with 107 points (also vs. Oklahoma State).
• Carolina had a season-high 37 points off turnovers (previous 33 vs. Chattanooga).
• Made a season-high 39 field goals.
• Hit a then-season high 12 three-pointers (previous 10 vs. Davidson and Clemson).
• Made a season-high 17 steals and forced a season-high tying 26 turnovers (also by Chattanooga).
• Carolina's bench out-scored NC State's starting five, 38-36.
• Matched its season high for points in a half with 56 (first half). Also had 56 in second half vs. Oklahoma State.
• UNC's halftime lead of 33 points (56-23) was the largest of the season (previous 24 vs. Radford).
• Joel Berry II had 19 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals. He was 6 of 10 from the floor, 3 for 7 3FG, 4 for 4 FT.
• Justin Jackson scored a game-high 21 points, making 6 of 11 three-pointers.
• Tony Bradley scored 11 points and shared team rebounding honors with Luke Maye with eight.
• Theo Pinson played for the first time this season (missed the first 16 games with a foot injury) and had five assists, five rebounds, four steals and no turnovers in 13 minutes.
• NC State's points per possession was .66, the lowest against UNC in an ACC game this season.
• An ice storm forced postponement of the game for 17 hours from an 8 p.m. start on January 7th to 1 p.m. on the 8th.
LAST YEAR IN RALEIGH
• NC State led 23-10 with 12:08 to play in the first half, but UNC ended the half on a 28-10 run and out-scored the Pack 70-45 over the final 32:08.
• Brice Johnson led UNC with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
• Justin Jackson had 17 points, six rebounds and three assists.
• Carolina shot 51.7 percent from the floor and held the Wolfpack to 39.4 percent in the second half.
