• Carolina begins the last week of the regular season with its final away game when it travels to Charlottesville, Va., on Monday, February 27th, to play the University of Virginia on ESPN.
• The Tar Heels are 25-5 overall and have clinched at least a share of the regular-season ACC championship with a 13-3 record in conference play. UNC concludes the regular season at home vs. Duke on 3/4.
• Virginia is 19-9 overall and 9-7 in the ACC. The Cavaliers finish the regular season on 3/4 at home vs. Pitt.
• Entering ACC play on Sunday, 2/26, Carolina (13-3) has a two-game lead on Florida State (11-5) and a two-and-a half game lead on Louisville (10-5) and Notre Dame (10-5).
• Carolina has clinched at least a share of its 31st ACC regular-season championship, the most in history – Duke is second with 19. The Tar Heels have previously won 20 titles outright and shared 10.
• Roy Williams has led UNC to an ACC regular-season championship for the eighth time in 14 seasons. No other coach or school has won more than three titles in that time.
• Williams has led Kansas and North Carolina to 17 first-place finishes in conference play in 29 seasons as a head coach.
• Carolina is 5-3 on the road in ACC play this year. Saturday's 85-67 win at Pitt clinched a winning record in ACC road games for the 11th time in Williams' 14 years at UNC and the 40th time overall in 64 seasons.
• Williams has led UNC to a 75-41 record in ACC road games. That winning percentage of .647 is the second-highest in ACC history behind Duke's Vic Bubas (.667).
• The win at Pitt was Williams' 75th ACC road win, which ties him with Gary Williams for the third most in ACC history behind Mike Krzyzewski (171) and Dean Smith (133).
• Carolina, Virginia and Notre Dame lead the league with five ACC road wins this year. The Tar Heels are 7-4 in all road games this season.
• The Tar Heels have won 13 or more ACC games 14 times, including eight times under Roy Williams.

• Carolina has clinched the No. 1 seed in the 2017 ACC Tournament, which will be played in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on March 7-11.
• Carolina receives a double-bye and will play its first game in the quarterfinal on Thursday, March 9, at Noon against the winner of the second round game between the No. 8 and No. 9 seeds.
• This will be the 26th time the Tar Heels have played in the ACC Tournament as the No. 1 seed. Duke and NC State are second and third, respectively, with 17 and six No. 1 seeds in ACC history.
• This will be the eighth time Roy Williams' teams have played in the ACC Tournament as a No. 1 seed (2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2016 and 2017).
• Carolina is third in the NCAA's RPI. The Tar Heels' opponents collectively have the eighth-best RPI in the nation. The NCAA ranks Carolina's strength of schedule as the 19th most difficult in the nation.

• Carolina has 25 wins. This is the 37th time in school history, including 10 times in Roy Williams' 14 seasons, the Tar Heels have won 25 or more games. Williams won 25 or more games 12 times in 15 seasons at Kansas, giving him 22 25-win seasons in 29 years as a college head coach.
• Carolina has won 20 or more games for the 59th time in school history and the 13th time in 14 years under head coach Roy Williams.

• Sophomore guard Kenny Williams will miss the rest of the season after having surgery on 2/21 to repair his right knee. As a result, the Tar Heels will finish the season having started only four games (NC State, Wake Forest, Boston College and Virginia Tech) and finished two with their full roster (NC State and Boston College; Tony Bradley was injured in the first half at Wake Forest and Theo Pinson was injured in the first half vs. Virginia Tech).
• Kenny Williams is the sixth Tar Heel who has averaged double-figure minutes played who missed games this year due to injury: Theo Pinson missed 19 games, Luke Maye missed five, Joel Berry II sat out two, Tony Bradley missed two, Isaiah Hicks did not play at Duke, and Williams is out for the year beginning with the game at NC State on 2/15.
UNC-VIRGINIA SERIES
•Carolina leads, 131-53, including 16-7 under head coach Roy Williams.
• The Tar Heels are 7-5 against Tony Bennett's Virginia teams and 1-0 against Bennett at Washington State (2008 NCAA Tournament).
• Carolina has averaged 65.6 points in its 12 games against Bennett's UVA teams with a high of 93 in a 2013 home win and a low of 52 in a loss earlier that same year in Charlottesville. UNC scored 65 on 2/18 in a 65-41 victory in Chapel Hill.
• UNC has scored more than 75 points once in 12 games against Bennett's UVA teams and under 65 points seven times (3-4 in those seven).
• Carolina is 44-33 against Virginia in Charlottesville, including 4-3 in John Paul Jones Arena.
• Carolina won its first four games in John Paul Jones Arena, but the Cavaliers have won the last three games there. UNC last won in Charlottesville in 2012.

• Carolina scored 65 points, its fewest in a win since beating Virginia 61-57 in the 2016 ACC Tournament championship game.
• Virginia scored 41 points, the second-fewest by an opponent in the Smith Center (460th game). Clemson scored 39 on 2/16/1995.
• The 41 points were the fewest allowed by the Tar Heels in Roy Williams' 14 seasons as head coach. Previous was 42 by NC Central (11/11/2009) and by Northern Iowa (12/21/2016).
• The 41 points were the fewest UNC has given up to Virginia since 1/21/1947 when UNC beat the Cavaliers 63-38. That game was played in Woollen Gym.
• Carolina out-rebounded the Cavaliers, 44-26 (plus 18). The Tar Heels came into the game first in the nation in rebound margin at 13.2 per game.
• Carolina came into the game averaging 65.6 points in 11 games against Tony Bennett-led teams at Virginia and scored 65.
• Virginia shot 27.8 percent from the floor, the lowest percentage by an opponent since Evansville shot 25.8 percent on 12/6/2011.
• It was the lowest percentage against the Tar Heels by an ACC team since Boston College shot 26.9 percent on 2/1/2011.
• Carolina's defense held the Cavaliers to 23.3 percent shooting from the floor in the second half, the lowest in a half by an opponent this year (previous 25.7 in the second half by Radford). That was the lowest percentage the Tar Heels held an opponent to in a half since Louisville shot 22.2 percent in the second half in the ACC Tournament quarterfinal in Greensboro in 2015.
• Carolina's 24-point win was its largest margin of victory over Virginia since a 99-54 (+45) win over 3/1/2006. UNC had a combined margin of 23 points in its previous four wins over the Cavaliers dating back to 2012.
• Justin Jackson led Carolina in scoring for the 15th time this year. Jackson had 20 points, 18 in the first half, and six assists.
• Jackson scored with 56 seconds left in the first half to give Carolina a 34-18 lead. That basket gave him 18 points and tied his scoring with Virginia's team scoring.
• Jackson made four three-pointers, the ninth time this year he made four or more 3FGs - he did that once in his first two seasons.
• Kennedy Meeks had 13 points and seven rebounds – all in the second half.
• Isaiah Hicks had a game-high eight rebounds, his second highest total this year.
