CHAPEL HILL—Friday's episode of the Carolina Insider podcast with Jones Angell and Adam Lucas reviews the close basketball win over Pitt and features an extended interview with former UNC basketball team statistician Fred Kiger, an Emmy Award-winning producer and longtime Chapel HIll historian. Kiger was the Tar Heels' statistician in the mid-1970s in the Phil Ford era and a part of the planning committee for the Carolina Basketball Museum.
