Heels Scrimmage On The Road

Hillsborough, NC- Wtih the town of Chapel Hill facing a water crisis, the Tar Heels traveled to Orange HS for a nine-inning scrimmage on a clear, brisk Saturday afternoon.
Logan Warmoth led the offenses by going 3-4 with a home run and a triple. Brian Miller was the only other player with multiple hits as he was 2-2 with a home run. Brendan Illies, Tyler Lynn and Michael Busch all homered, while Ike Freeman added a double.
JB Bukauskas and Jason Morgan were the starting ptichers. Austin Bergner, Cole Aker, Trevor Gay, Zach Attianese, Brett Daniels and Josh Hiatt also threw.
The Tar Heels will travel to Cary, N.C. on Sunday for a scrimmage at the USA Baseball Complex.
