Sunday's Scrimmage Ends In A Tie

Chapel Hill, NC -- Â The Navy and Blue squads battled to an 8-8 on Sunday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium. The two squads combined for 19 base hits in the three hour scrimmage.
Satchel Jerzembeck was 2-4 with three RBI and two runs scored. Tristan Shea was 2-4 with two RBI with Ben Casparius going 2-3 with two runs scored. Ike Freeman was was 2-3 with two RBI and one run scored, while Michael Busch was 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Brandon Martorano was was 2-4 with one RBI and one run scored.
Michael Busch and Brandon Martorano each had a pair of doubles, while Dylan Enwiller, Ben Casparius, Dallas Tessar and Satchel Jerzembeck each doubled. Jerzembeck also had a triple, while Jackson Hesterlee blasted a massive home run to right center.
Seven pitchers saw action: Joey Lancellotti, Taylor Sugg, Austin Love, John Dancy, Teddy Sabato, Angel Zarate and Trevor Gay.
Weather permitting, the Heels will hold their next scrimmage on Thursday.
