No. 8 North Carolina returns from an extended road trip to face William & Mary on Wednesday at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. The Tar Heels are off to a 4-1 record and won both of their matches last week.

The match will be carried live on ACC Network Extra beginning at 7 p.m. ACC Network Extra is streamed live on WatchESPN and the ESPN app.
FAMILIAR FOES
Carolina and William & Mary are going head-to-head for the fifth year in a row going back to 2013. UNC is 2-1-1 in the previous four matches.
SERIES WITH WILLIAM & MARY
Carolina owns a 13-2-2 record all-time with William & Mary in a series that dates back to 1971. Last season, the Tar Heels registered a 4-1 win in Williamsburg, Va. Zach Wright, Jeremy Kelly, Tucker Hume and twin brother Walker Hume each scored in the victory.
FREE ADMISSION
All games hosted this season by North Carolina at WakeMed Soccer Park will not require an admission price. The Tar Heels will not play on campus this season in Chapel Hill while the new soccer and lacrosse field is currently under construction.
LAST TIME OUT
Cam Lindley scored in the 53rd minute to solidify a 2-1 road victory at Pitt in the ACC opener for both clubs last Saturday night. Jelani Pieters scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season in the first half.
SHARING THE SCORING LOAD
UNC has nine different goal scorers already in 2017. Pieters tops the club with four goals, followed by Lindley and David October with two each. In 2016, the Tar Heels enjoyed 10 players that scored at least one goal along the way to reaching the College Cup.
ACC PRESEASON FAVORITES
North Carolina is the ACC preseason favorite to win the league championship, according to a vote of the league's 12 head coaches. The Tar Heels were named by five coaches as this year's team to beat for the ACC Championship. Wake Forest received three votes, followed by Clemson with two. Notre Dame and Virginia each received one vote.

Carolina hosts No. 23 Duke on Saturday at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, N.C. Admission will be charged for the match between the two Tobacco Road rivals. $7 for adults, $5 for ages 12 and under, and UNC students are free with a One Card. Parking is free and gates open at 6 p.m.
