Sweet Named To PFF Midseason All-ACC Team

North Carolina junior offensive tackle William Sweet was named to the PFF Midseason All-ACC Team, ProFootballFocus.com announced this week. Sweet, who earned ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors after Carolina's 38-35 win over Pitt on Sept. 22, has started all five games at left tackle for the Tar Heels this season.
According to the PFF's numbers, Sweet has a 77.4 percent grade, tops among ACC tackles. He also has allowed no sacks or hits on 199 snaps in pass blocking, per the website. His solid performance has been evident in the run game as well, with UNC ranking third in the league at 5.2 yards per carry.
