Blueberry Patch Workday Set For Saturday

North Carolina women's basketball head coach Sylvia Hatchell has an open invitation to anyone interested in lending a hand at the annual Blueberry Patch workday on Saturday, April 7 at her home in Western North Carolina.
All proceeds from the blueberry patch go directly in support of the Lineberger Cancer Center.
The workday will go from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Lunch will be served and a free t-shirt will be given to all participants.
The property is located near Black Mountain at 143 Flat Creek Road, Fairview, NC.

Take Interstate 40 west to the Black Mountain exit. Turn right off the exit and follow N.C. 9 South 5 miles toward Lake Lure. Turn right at Chestnut Hill Road, go 2 miles and turn left on Flat Creek Road. The blueberry patch is about a half-mile down the road on the right at 143 Flat Creek Road; there is a small sign near the road and patch.
