WNBA Update: Breland Reaches Rebound Milestone

A month into the 2018 WNBA campaign and four North Carolina women's basketball players continue to make an impact on their respective clubs. 
Jessica Breland
Atlanta Dream

Breland hauled in her 1,000th career rebound last week in her seventh season in the WNBA. She ranks fourth in the league with 8.9 boards per game to go with 7.7 points in starting all 11 games in her first season in Atlanta.
Camille Little
Phoenix Mercury
F
Phoenix owns a league best 10 victories and stands percentage points behind Los Angeles for the best record in the WNBA. Camille Little has come off the bench in all 13 games thus far in 2018, leading the Mercury reserves in minutes (16.9), points (4.1) and rebounds (2.4) per game. She scored a season-high 11 points this past Friday in a victory over Connecticut.
Tierra Ruffin-Pratt

TRP has started eight of 11 games thus far in her sixth season with the Mystics. Ruffin-Pratt averages 7.5 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists this season. She is coming off a 14-point performance against Los Angeles on June 15, two points shy of her season high 16 points scored in a victory over Phoenix in late May.
LaToya (Pringle) Sanders

Notched her first double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds on Friday night against first-place Los Angeles. In six games (three starts), Sanders averages 7.0 points and 4.5 rebounds and a team-leading 1.0 blocks per game.
