UNC Seeks Back-To-Back Wins Sunday At Miami

Carolina travels to Miami to play the Hurricanes on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The Tar Heels are 10-8 overall, 1-3 in the ACC, after their 84-61 win over Wake Forest. Miami is 15-4, 3-1 in conference play. The Canes defeated Duke, 58-50, in Durham on Thursday night.

Koenen made 8-of-9 shots and all four of her three-point attempts to guide the Tar Heels to their first ACC victory of the season, improving to 1-3 in the ACC and 10-8 overall. All five starters scored in double figures with Stephanie Watts adding 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Paris Kea tossed in 12 points and both Janelle Bailey and Jocelyn Jones had 10. UNC led by 38 points, 56-18 at halftime and cruised to victory for the 64th win in program history over the Demon Deacons.Â
