Charleston Southern Game Set For 5 PM Tipoff

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Tipoff for the North Carolina women's basketball game on Nov. 15 has been set for 5 p.m. The Tar Heels will host Charleston Southern at Carmichael Arena that day for their third game of the regular season.
The UNC men's team hosts Gardner-Webb at 9 p.m. at the Dean Smith Center, and the tipoff times allow Tar Heel basketball fans to attend both games.
The Carolina women, in their first season under head coach Courtney Banghart, host Wingate for an exhibition game on Nov. 2 then open the season against Western Carolina on Nov. 7.
The WCU game kicks off four home contests in a row, with Navy visiting Carmichael on Nov. 11, the Charleston Southern matchup on Nov. 15, then a home game against Elon on Nov. 22.
After that, the Tar Heels head for Mexico to play two games at the Cancun Challenge over Thanksgiving to wrap up the month of November.
In additional schedule news, the matchup with UNC Wilmington in Myrtle Beach, S.C., on Dec. 20 has been set for a 7 p.m. tipoff.
