GAME PREVIEW
• Carolina faces Pitt on the road for the third-consecutive time on a Thursday night before a nationally-televised audience on ESPN. UNC won both previous meetings in 2015 and '17.
• UNC and Pitt are back in action after open weeks. In their last competitions on Nov. 2, the Tar Heels fell 38-31 to Virginia in Chapel Hill, while the Panthers knocked off Georgia Tech in Atlanta, 20-10.
