No. 17 North Carolina Set For Road Trip To Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. --- No. 17 North Carolina will look to start the season 2-0 as it hits the road again to battle Stanford Saturday at 2 p.m. PST.
There is no broadcast currently set for the dual, but updates can be found on UNC Wrestling's Twitter (uncwrestling).
Last week, the Tar Heels knocked off No. 19 Michigan on the road with strong performances up and down the lineup. Clay Lautt led the way at 174 pounds with a first-period pin, while early wins from Jaime Hernandez (133) and Zach Sherman (141) at their new weights for the 2019-20 season sparked crucial momentum.
Stanford kicked off its dual meet season last weekend on the road against No. 3 Ohio State. The Buckeyes captured a 29-6 win, with Stanford's lone bout victory coming at 165 pounds, where No. 8 Shane Griffith pinned OSU's No. 14 Ethan Smith (6:15).
