Carolina Hosts Syracuse In ACC Championship Tuesday

History With Syracuse
• This will be the second meeting between UNC and Syracuse this season as they also met on Oct. 12 when Syracuse won 4-3 in Chapel Hill. In a back-and-forth game, Syracuse scored in 42 seconds before UNC scored three straight to take a 3-1 lead. Syracuse scored 3 goals in the final 20 minutes to take the 4-3 win.
• That was the first time UNC has ever lost to Syracuse as the Heels hold a 3-1-2 all-time record.Â
• UNC is now 1-1-1 all-time hosting Syracuse.Â
• The last time the two sides met in the post season was in 2015 when Jeremy Kelly scored the game-winning goal to advance to the NCAA Quarterfinals.
