Heels Debut At No. 13 In Collegiate Baseball Poll

Chapel Hill -- North Carolina will open the 2020 college baseball season ranked No. 13 nationally by Collegiate Baseball, the website announced in its preseason poll Monday. Carolina is one of seven teams in the ACC ranked in the top 40 and are joined by No. 1 Louisville, No. 4 Miami, No. 15 Florida State, No. 16 NC State, No. 17 Wake Forest and No. 28 Georgia Tech.Â
The Heels will host No. 1 Louisville and No. 28 Georgia Tech in three-game series in Chapel Hill while traveling to No. 4 Miami, No. 16 NC State and No. 17 Wake Forest during the season.Â

The Tar Heels open up the 2020 season with 16 of its first 19 games at Boshamer Stadium with the season beginning on Feb. 14 with a three-game series against Middle Tennessee State in Chapel Hill.
