Six Tar Heels Named To All-EAGL Teams

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Six Tar Heels were named to the 2019 All-East Atlantic Gymnastics teams on Monday, March 18th, by the league. Carolina had seven named to first-team honors across the four events.
On vault, Khazia Hislop (9.890) and Mikayla Robinson (9.840) were named to First Team All-EAGL. This was Hislop's second consecutive year being named first team vault. Madison Hargrave (9.785) was named to Second Team All-EAGL.
Rylie Dewhurst (9.790) was the sole Tar Heel named to an All-EAGL team on bars. Dewhurst was named to the First Team All-EAGL on bars. This was her first All-EAGL award.
Two Tar Heels were named to First Team All-EAGL on beam. Hislop (9.840) and Jamie DeCicco (9.835) represented Carolina. Hislop received the same recognition last season. This was DeCicco's first All-EAGL award.
On floor, Hislop (9.920) and Hargrave (9.845) were named to the First Team All-EAGL. Robinson (9.840) and Lily Dean (9.835) were named to Second Team All-EAGL on floor. This was Hislop's third-consecutive year being named to First Team All-EAGL on floor.
Carolina wraps up its season on Saturday in Durham, New Hampshire for the East Atlantic Gymnastics League Championships. The meet will begin at 2 p.m.
