CHAPEL HILL – Despite a single-game high of 11 strikeouts by Brittany Pickett, North Carolina dropped the regular season finale to NC Central, 3-1 on Tuesday night at Anderson Stadium.

» NC Central's Jacobia Johnson blooped a single to left on the first pitch of the game, but a fly-out and pair of strikeouts stranded the runner.
