CHAPEL HILL – Despite a single-game high of 11 strikeouts by Brittany Pickett, North Carolina dropped the regular season finale to NC Central, 3-1 on Tuesday night at Anderson Stadium.
Berlynne Delamora put Carolina on the board with an RBI-single in the seventh inning. However, UNC was unable to come back from the Eagles' three runs in the fourth..
The Tar Heels wrap up the regular season at 33-17 as they await ACC Tournament seeding. NCCU improves to 21-24 before heading to the MEAC Tournament.
