Francis Out For Saturday's Game Vs. Clemson

CHAPEL HILL – University of North Carolina freshman guard Jeremiah Francis will not play in today's game vs. Clemson due to soreness in his left knee. He will be further evaluated this weekend.
Francis did not play as a high school junior or senior after two surgeries on his left knee. He played for the first time this season on December 8 at Virginia. He is averaging 5.9 points and 3.0 assists in the last seven games and started the last three.
Sophomore Leaky Black will start today against Clemson. Black will be the fourth Tar Heel to start at the point in 16 games this season (nine by Cole Anthony, three by Francis and three by K.J. Smith).
