Brandon Robinson To Miss Virginia Tech Game
January 22, 2020 | Men's Basketball
BLACKSBURG, VA. – University of North Carolina senior guard Brandon Robinson did not make the trip and will not play in this evening's game at Virginia Tech due to persistent neck pain related to a two-car accident he was in several hours after the Clemson game on January 11.
The driver of the other vehicle was charged with impaired driving DWI.
Robinson is Carolina's third-leading scorer at 12.1 points per game. The Douglasville, Ga., native leads the Tar Heels in assists and three-pointers and is sixth in the ACC in threes per game and three-point accuracy.
He is one of four Tar Heels who will not suit up this evening due to injury (with junior forward Sterling Manley and freshmen guards Cole Anthony and Anthony Harris).
Virginia Tech hosts UNC this evening at 8 p.m. at Cassell Coliseum.
