• The Tar Heels enter Thursday's matchup after defeating Duke 1-0 last Thursday. The lone North Carolina goal was an own-goal that bounced off of a Duke defender's leg into the net.
• North Carolina has surrendered just two goals through seven contests, a figure that paces the ACC. Although the stat ranks third in the country, Lamar, Houston Baptist and UAB have combined for 290 minutes of game time. The Tar Heels have played 630 minutes this season.
