Meet the Heels: #7 Alyssa Stanley

This week's Meet the Heels segment continues with our first sophomore. Alyssa "Buggie" Stanley is a pitcher/first baseman from Las Vegas, Nevada. Stanley earned her first career win vs. Detroit Mercy on Feb. 8 at the Florida State Tournament. She struck out 15 in 19.0 innings during the shortened season. At the plate, Stanley logged her first career hit vs. NC Central as an RBI-double during the 7-0 win.

Why Carolina? Carolina is all about family and I love that aspect of the school. Also, the campus is beautiful.
