THREE IN A ROW
• Carolina has won three ACC games in a row for the first time this season and has produced a three-game winning streak for the first time since beginning the season 5-0.
• The Tar Heels have played some of their best offensive basketball of the season in recent games. UNC's points per possession against Wake Forest was its best of the season (1.16, 93 points on 80 possessions) and against Syracuse was its third best behind only the 94-71 win over Miami on Jan. 25.
• Carolina's two most efficient offensive halves of the season have come in the second half at Syracuse (52 points on 39 possessions) and second half against Wake Forest (58 points on 40 possessions).
• The Tar Heels have shot better than 50 percent from the floor in each of the last two games (.516 at Syracuse and .508 against Wake Forest), the first time this season UNC did that in consecutive games.
• Carolina has shot 50 percent from the floor in the second half nine times in 30 games this season, including four of the last five games (.517 at Notre Dame, .500 vs. NC State, .567 at Syracuse and .643 against Wake Forest). UNC out-scored the Irish, Pack, Orange and Deacs by a combined 22 points in the second half.
• Over the last six games, the Tar Heels are shooting 47.3 percent from the floor (as a point of reference, the leading team in the ACC in field goal percentage in conference games has shot .470 for the season).
• Carolina has scored 90 points in consecutive games and at least 80 points in three consecutive games, both for the first time this season.
• Carolina's 58-point second half against Wake Forest was its highest scoring 20 minutes of the season. That came one game after scoring 52 in the second half at Syracuse. Those are two of four 50-point halves this season; the Tar Heels scored 56 in the second half in the Jan. 4 loss to Georgia Tech and 51 in the first half against Miami.
• The Tar Heels are averaging 90.0 points and shooting 50.5 percent from the floor in their current three-game win streak. UNC is also 24 for 59 from three-point range (.407) in those three games, including 21 of 43 (.488) in the last two games, and has converted 76.3 percent from the free throw line.
HISTORIC SCORING COMBO
• Junior forward Garrison Brooks and freshman point guard Cole Anthony have combined to score 104 points in the last two games, wins over Syracuse and Wake Forest.
• Brooks had 26 at Syracuse and 25 against the Deacons. Anthony scored 25 in the Carrier Dome and netted 28 against Wake Forest.
• They became the first Tar Heel duo to score 25 or more points in consecutive games since Larry Miller and Bobby Lewis accomplished the feat in 1965-66 against Ohio State and Richmond.
• Lewis and Billy Cunningham did it against Virginia and Maryland in 1964-65 and York Larese and Doug Moe did it against South Carolina and Wake Forest in 1960-61.
• Anthony and Brooks have both scored 20 or more points in three of the last four games in which they both played (Notre Dame, Syracuse and Wake Forest), the first three times this season they both scored 20 or more.
NOTABLE
• In a season in which Carolina didn't score 80 points in a win until its ninth win and 19th game of the season (against Miami on Jan. 25) the Tar Heels are now averaging 80.1 points in their 13 victories.
• Carolina's game at Duke should be the 11th time in 31 games the team's three leading scorers – Cole Anthony, Garrison Brooks and Brandon Robinson – have all played. It will be the sixth game the trio has played together since the middle of December. The most recent five games in which they all played resulted in wins over NC State, Syracuse and Wake Forest and one-point losses to Boston College and Notre Dame.
• Carolina's win over Syracuse was the Tar Heels' ninth in a row over the Orange. UNC is the first team to defeat Syracuse nine consecutive times; Cornell beat the Orange eight straight in the 1920s.
• Carolina's home win over NC State, coupled with its win in Raleigh on Jan. 27, gave the Tar Heels their 13th regular-season sweep over the Wolfpack in Roy Williams' 17 seasons.
• It also meant the Tar Heels have won home and away games against at least one ACC opponent in every season since the league was formed in 1953-54.
• Carolina's victory over the Wolfpack ended the Tar Heels' seven-game losing streak, the second-longest streak in UNC history.Â
• The win over NC State was Roy Williams' 200th regular-season ACC win, making him the third coach (and second fastest) in league history to win 200. Williams won his 200th in 287 games; Dean Smith won his 200th in 278 games and Mike Krzyzewski won his 200th in 296.

• Carolina is 48-54 against the Blue Devils on the road, including 37-45 at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
• Under Roy Williams, the Tar Heels have won at Cameron Indoor Stadium in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2016 and 2019.
• Last year, eighth-ranked UNC defeated top-ranked Duke, 88-72, at Cameron. Luke Maye had 30 points and 15 rebounds and Cameron Johnson made a career-high 11 field goals and scored 26 points. The Tar Heels went just 2 for 20 from three-point range, but scored 62 points in the paint. The game was tied for only 34 seconds and UNC never trailed.

• Head coach Roy Williams is 16-21 against Duke as Carolina's head coach.
• Carolina is 46-48 against Mike Krzyzewski's Duke teams. Â

• Brooks has won UNC's defensive player of the game award 12 times this season and 32 times in three seasons. He's won the award in five of the last seven games.
• Brooks is averaging 34.8 minutes per game, most by a Tar Heel since point guard Marcus Paige averaged 35.6 in 2013-14.
• The 34.8 minutes are the most by a big man in the Roy Williams Era (previous high was 33.7 by power forward David Noel in 2005-06).
• Brooks is 46 for 73 (.630) from the floor in the last five games and 29 for 35 (.829) from the free throw line in the last three games.
• Freshman point guard Cole Anthony leads Carolina in scoring at 20.2 points per game. That's the highest average by a freshman in the nation and is on pace to be the highest ever by a UNC freshman (Tyler Hansbrough holds the record at 18.9 ppg in 2005-06).

• He made three or more 3FGs in seven straight games (a streak snapped on Jan. 27 at NC State), which equaled the second-longest such streak in Carolina history (three or more in eight straight games by Donald Williams in the 1993 postseason and seven in a row by Dante Calabria in 1996).
• Freshman forward Armando Bacot did not play against Wake Forest on March 3 due to a sprained right ankle, an injury he suffered early in the first half of the game at Syracuse on Feb. 29.Â
• Bacot had been the only Tar Heel to start the first 29 games, but the win over the Orange was the third time he played less than 10 minutes due to an early injury.
