Rabinowitz Leads UNC At NCAA Regionals

DURHAM, N.C. – Sophomore Beni Rabinowitz placed fourth in men's sabre to pace the UNC fencing team Saturday at NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals, held on the courts at Duke's Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center.
Other top Tar Heel finishers were sophomore James Mulligan, eighth in men's foil; freshman Abigale Parker, eighth in women's sabre; freshman Sophia Mandour, 11th in women's foil; and senior Jackie Litynski, 12th in women's sabre.
NCAA Championships bids, which take into account performance during the season as well as finish at Regionals, will be announced in the coming week. The NCAA Championships are set for March 19-22 in Detroit.
