WNBA Update: Kea's Debut, Ruffin-Pratt's Return

The 2020 WNBA season continues in Bradenton, Fla., with all 12 teams in the league's bubble at IMG Academy. Two Tar Heels – Paris Kea and Tierra Ruffin-Pratt – are part of the action.
• Kea arrived in the bubble this week and made her first appearance with the Liberty on Tuesday night, scoring four points in six minutes of play in a loss to the Seattle Storm.
New York (1-10) returns to action on Thursday, taking on the Chicago Sky in a 7 p.m. game.
• Ruffin-Pratt returned to the court Wednesday night after missing three games with an ankle injury. She played 13 minutes off the bench as the Sparks beat Phoenix 83-74 to improve to 8-3 on the season.
Ruffin-Pratt started the first seven games of the season for the Sparks, averaging 3.6 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. Next up for the Sparks is a matchup with Atlanta on Friday at 4 p.m.
