CHAPEL HILL–North Carolina men's tennis players concluded the Tar Heel Invitational with a strong effort on Tuesday in Chapel Hill, going 2-1 in doubles action and 4-1 in singles matches overall.

William Blumberg, Anuj Watane, Peter Murphy and Mark Dillon all picked up singles victories in straight sets, while the teams of Blumberg and Adam Neff and Murphy and Simon Soendergaard won their doubles matches.

Players from UNC, Tennessee, Charlotte and Wofford took part in the action on the indoor courts from Jan. 10-12, opening the 2021 season.

UNC will host the ACC Challenge next weekend in Chapel Hill, and Carolina's dual match schedule will begin on January 24 in the ITA Kickoff against Northwestern.
