Carolina Notes
• Florida State was 11 for 11 from the foul line in the first half and 26 of 27 for the game. That was the third-best percentage (.963) ever in a game against UNC by an opponent with 20 or more attempts (Wake Forest was 32 for 32 in 2005 and NC State was 22 for 22 in 2003).
• Carolina made a season-high 10 three-pointers (previous was nine at Miami).Â
• Carolina has made (40) threes in the last five games.
• Carolina shot 41.7 percent from three-point range (10 of 24). That's the third time in four games UNC has shot at least 40 percent from three.
• This was the first time freshmen guards RJ Davis (16), Caleb Love (11) and Kerwin Walton (14) scored in double figures in the same game.
• It was the first time UNC made 10 or more three-pointers and lost since 11/22/18 when it made 11 against Texas in Las Vegas.
• FSU outrebounded UNC by one (30-29). This was the second game this season UNC lost the rebounding battle (also vs. Kentucky).
• The Seminoles scored 11 second-chance points. UNC's previous four opponents had combined to score 16 (three by Georgia Tech, five by Notre Dame, four by Miami and four by Syracuse).
• Carolina's 16 defensive rebound and 29 total rebounds were season lows.
• UNC committed 14 turnovers and forced 17. This was the first time in six games this season UNC lost when committing fewer turnovers.
• Carolina scored 20 points off FSU turnovers, its most since scoring 21 in each of the first two games this season.
• FSU scored 22 points off UNC turnovers. The 22 points were the most scored against UNC since Iowa had 23.Â
• FSU scored 18 fastbreak points, the most allowed by UNC this season.
• Carolina equaled its season low in points in the paint with 22 (also at Georgia Tech).
• Carolina scored 29 bench points for the second game in a row (six above its season average).
• The Tar Heels fell behind by double figures in the first half for the first time since at NC State (Dec. 22), but the seventh time this season.
• Including today, Carolina has rallied to take leads in six of the seven games in which it fell behind by double figures in the first half (all but NC State when UNC closed to within a point on two occasions). The Tar Heels came all the back for wins against UNLV, NC Central and Kentucky.
• The Seminoles scored 41 first-half points on 37 possessions (1.11 per). That was the second most efficient half by an opponent this season (Georgia Tech scored 43 on 36 possessions in the second half in its 72-67 win over Carolina on 12/30/20).

• Walton scored a season-high 14 points. He made multiple three-pointers for the fifth time in the last seven games and scored in double figures for the fourth time in those seven games.
• Walton made four three-pointers, which tied his previous high (four vs. Notre Dame on 1/2/21).
• Anthony Harris played for the first time this season. He missed the last 20 games of last season and the first 12 games this season due to a knee injury he suffered against Yale on 12/30/19).
• Harris was a plus-10 in 8:29 of action. He had five points and tied for the team lead in assists with three (no other Tar Heel was better than a plus-2 for the game).
