• This was Carolina's first home game since January 23.
• Carolina had four players score in double figures and six with nine or more points.
• UNC had 20 assists on 32 field goals.
• UNC's perimeter players combined for 17 assists and three assists (Caleb Love, RJ Davis, Kerwin Walton and Leaky Black).
• Carolina was 13 for 16 from the free throw line (.813). That followed a five-game stretch when UNC shot 51.7 percent from the line.
• UNC had 48 rebounds and outrebounded the Huskies by 15. It was the 12th time this season UNC had 40 or more rebounds.

Tar Heel Player Notes
• Day'Ron Sharpe led UNC with 15 points. It was the third time he's led UNC in scoring this season.
• Kerwin Walton tied his season high with 14 points.
• Walton's four-point play was Carolina's first by an individual player since Cameron Johnson at Boston College on 3/5/2019.
• It was the sixth consecutive game Walton made multiple threes.
• Caleb Love had a season-high nine assists. That is the most assists by a Tar Heel this season.
• Garrison Brooks' double-double (11 points and a season-high 13 rebounds) was his second of the season and 14th of his career.
• Walker Kessler scored a season-high 10 points and had a season-high seven rebounds. It was the second time in as many games he scored a season high (had nine at Virginia).
• Andrew Platek scored nine points, most since he had 11 against NC Central on 12/12/20.
• Anthony Harris was not in uniform. He had a concussion at Virginia. He is in the return-to-play protocol and could be available in UNC's next game.
