Trio of Tar Heels Named To Preseason All-ACC Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Three Tar Heels have been named to the Preseason All-Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Team, announced Tuesday afternoon by the league.
Senior Chris Gray was selected as one of three attackmen on the list and junior Will Bowen is one of three defensemen honored. Junior Connor Maher represents the Tar Heels as one of three shortstick midfielders on the list.

In the preseason coaches' poll, the Tar Heels ranked fourth with 13 points in the balloting. Syracuse led the way with 21 points, Duke got 20 and Virginia 14. Notre Dame was fifth with seven points.
UNC opens the 2021 season on Sunday, hosting Denver for an 11 a.m. game that will be broadcast live on ESPNU.
