Carolina Notes
• The 45-point margin of victory tied UNC's fourth largest in ACC game.
• The 73 points by freshmen set a UNC record. The previous high was 61 vs. NC State on January 23.
• Carolina scored a season-high 99 points (UNC is 152-6 under Roy Williams when it scores 90 or more).
• Carolina shot a season-high 60.9 percent from the floor (UNC is 4-0 this season and 218-9 under Williams when it shoots 50 percent from the floor).
• Carolina shot 57.1 percent from the floor in the first half and 64.7 percent in the second half. The first half is now the third highest in a half and the second is the highest this season.Â
• Carolina had a season-high 29 assists on a season-high 42 field goals.
• UNC shot 57.1 percent from the floor in the first half, its best in a first half this season and second highest in any half to that point in the season (.607 in the second half at Pittsburgh).
• UNC scored 48 first-half points, its most in a first half this season.
• UNC scored 48 points on 45 possessions in the first half, its second-highest offensive efficiency (1.07) in a half this season. In the second half vs. Wake Forest UNC was 1.14.Â

• UNC has led by double figures at the half three times this season, all in its last three home games (10 vs. NC State, 11 vs. Northeastern and 19 vs. Louisville).

Tar Heel Player Notes
• Kerwin Walton scored a season-high 19 points. He became the first Tar Heel to make five threes in a game this season.
• Walton tied his previous season highs with 14 points and four three-pointers in the first half.
• Sharpe had his fifth double-double of the season with 21 points and 11 rebounds. It was his second 20-point game.
• Sharpe was 6 for 8 from the floor for 12 points in the first half.
• Walker Kessler tied his season high with 10 points and had a season-high three assists in the first half.Â
• Kessler has 29 points in the last three games (9 at Virginia, 10 vs. Northeastern and 10 vs. Louisville).
• RJ Davis made two threes and had six points. It was his first three in five games and first game with multiple threes in eight games.
• Andrew Platek had a season-high five assists and no turnovers.
Series Notes
• Carolina is 16-7 all-time against the Cardinals, including 7-4 since UL joined the ACC in 2014-15.
• Carolina is 4-1 at home (all five games have been played in the Smith Center).
• The 99 points are the most by the Tar Heels against Louisville since a 105-91 win in the national third place game in Los Angeles on 3/25/1972.
• Carolina's largest previous win against Louisville was 23 in the NCAA East Regional final in Syracuse on 3/23/1997 (Coach's Smith final win as UNC's head coach).
• Roy Williams is 10-5 against Louisville (9-4 as head coach of the Tar Heels).
