Carolina Notes
• Carolina shot a season-low 33.8 percent from the floor.
• Carolina shot 26.7 percent from the floor in the first half. It was the second straight game UNC shot under 30 percent from the floor against the Seminoles in the first half. UNC shot 25 percent in the opening half on Feb. 27 at home.
• Carolina trailed by 11 at the half. UNC has trailed at the half in 15 of its 28 games this season.
• Carolina has now been outscored by 12 points in the first half and outscored its opponents by 188 points in the second half.
• Florida State was 16 for 22 from the free throw line, while UNC made 14 of 25 (56.0 percent). The Tar Heels came into the game 14th in the ACC in free throw percentage. It was the eighth time this season UNC shot under 60 percent from the line.
• Carolina made six three-pointers, while the Seminoles made five. It was the second time in 10 losses this season UNC made more threes (the other time was January 16 at Florida State when UNC made 10 and FSU hit eight).
• The five threes by FSU were the fewest by an opponent in UNC's 10 losses this season.
• Florida State scored 19 points off Tar Heel turnovers. In three games this season FSU scored 66 points off UNC turnovers.
• Largely due to turnovers, FSU scored 19 fastbreak points tonight and 59 in three games vs. UNC this season.
• This was the fifth loss this season by five points or fewer and the fourth by three or less.

• The Tar Heels are 104-49 in the ACC Tournament, including 35-17 in the semifinals.
• Carolina is 5-3 against Florida State in the ACC Tournament. This was the first time the teams have met in the ACC Tournament since UNC defeated the Seminoles in the 2013 quarterfinals in Greensboro.
• Roy Williams is 29-15 as Carolina's head coach in the ACC Tournament.
• Carolina is 127-39 all-time in Greensboro.

• Three Tar Heels scored in double figures – Caleb Love with 13, Armando Bacot with 12 and Kerwin Walton with 11.
• Walton was 0 for 1 from the floor in the first half, then made three three-pointers and scored 11 points in the second half.
• Bacot scored 49 points (16.3 ppg) and had 32 rebounds (10.7 rpg) in the three games in the ACC Tournament.
• Bacot and Walton were a team-leading plus 10.
