Nine Tar Heels have earned All-America recognition from the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association, which announced its 2021 honors on Thursday afternoon.

Senior midfielders Justin Anderson and Tanner Cook and junior SSDM Connor Maher earned All-America second team honors.
Senior midfielder William Perry was named to the third team.
Junior face-off Zac Tucci, sophomore LSM Matt Wright and freshman goalkeeper Collin Krieg earned honorable mention.
It's the first time UNC has had two players on the first team since 2015, when Chad Tutton and Ryan Kilpatrick earned the honor.
Gray is the first Tar Heel to win the Turnbull Award.
