Carolina Notes
• The Tar Heels are now 11-0 at home this season.
• Carolina shot 29.1% from the floor, the lowest in UNC history in a win. The previous low was 30.3 against William & Mary on 1/8/1957.
• UNC held Boston College to 16 points in the second half, fewest by an opponent since Northern Iowa scored 16 in the second half on 12/21/2016.
• Carolina held the Eagles to 47 points, lowest by an opponent this season (previous was 50 by App State).
• The 47 points were the fewest by an opponent in an ACC game since a 65-41 Tar Heel victory on 2/18/2017.
• BC shot 21.4% from the floor in the second half, lowest in any second half by an opponent this season (previous was 25.7% by UNC Asheville).
• Armando Bacot had a game-high 18 rebounds, the fourth time in the last seven games he grabbed at least 17 boards.
• Bacot is averaging 16.1 rebounds over the last seven games.
• It was the 11th consecutive game Bacot had 10 or more rebounds but his double-double streak ended at 10 games (fourth-longest in UNC history and the longest since 1964-65) as he scored six points.
• Bacot has double-digit rebounds in 16 of 20 games this season.
• Caleb Love (16) and RJ Davis (13) were the only Tar Heels to score in double figures.
• Carolina's 58 points were the fewest in a UNC win since beating Virginia in Charlottesville, 54-51, on 2/25/2011.
• Carolina had lost the previous six times it scored fewer than 70 points and the previous 22 times it scored less than 60.
• It was the 11th straight win which UNC held the opponents to fewer than 70 points.
• This was the first time this season Leaky Black made a three-pointer in consecutive games. First time since vs. Notre Dame and at Miami in January 2021.
• Black led UNC with five assists and had no turnovers. UNC is 8-0 this season when he has at least three assists.
• It was the 12th time in his career Black had five or more assists.
• Kerwin Walton made all three free throws on a shooting attempt in the first half. Those were his first free throw attempts of the season.
• BC's three-point percentage of .063 tied the third-lowest by an opponent in UNC history. It was the lowest since Louisville also shot of 16 last season.
• The 105 points tied the fourth fewest combined points in the Smith Center and were the fewest since a 56-48 NC State win (104 combined) on 2/24/2015.
• Carolina's field goal percentage of .291 was the third lowest by UNC in the Smith Center.
