Rebranded WBB Radio Show Tips Off Tuesday

The Carolina women's basketball program and Learfield have announced that the weekly UNC women's basketball radio show has been renamed Holding Court with Courtney Banghart. The show, formerly known as Courtney Banghart Live, is presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.

Holding Court will air on the flagship station of Carolina women's basketball, WCHL 97.9 FM/1360 AM, each week for the duration of the regular season and postseason, generally on Tuesday evenings. Additionally, fans can hear each episode on demand as a podcast via the Tar Heel Voices Podcast Channel. The show will be posted on the channel on Wednesday mornings, and episodes are archived for listening any time.

Fans may subscribe to Tar Heel Voices via Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, or wherever else you listen to your podcasts. The link to the weekly show will also be shared via Twitter on the program's account, @uncwbb.

Matt Krause, the radio play-by-play voice of Carolina women's basketball, will continue to host the show alongside UNC coach Courtney Banghart and special guests throughout the season. Fans are encouraged to submit questions for the show to Krause on Twitter at @MattKrausePxP.

Due to COVID protocols, the show will continue to be recorded remotely through at least the January 11 episode. The UNC Department of Athletics is in consultation with medical personnel about a potential return to an on-location recording at the Carolina Club later in the season, should the ongoing pandemic situation allow a safe environment for all.
