Jalen Washington one of four freshmen joining the University of North Carolina men's basketball roster for the 2022-23 season. A forward from Gary, Ind., the 6-10 Washington aims to provide depth and earn minutes in a Tar Heel frontcourt that will also include senior Armando Bacot, graduate transfer Pete Nance, freshman Will Shaver and senior Justin McKoy, among others.
