Tanguilig Named ACC Freshman Of The Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – North Carolina's Carson Tanguilig has been selected the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Tennis Freshman of the Week.
Tanguilig, who hails from Alpharetta, Ga., helped No. 1 North Carolina secure wins over Syracuse and Boston College, winning two straight-set singles matches and earning a doubles win against the Eagles. The Tar Heels remain unbeaten on the season at 17-0 and 6-0 in the ACC.
This is the second time this spring Tanguilig has earned the league's freshman of the week honors.
UNC has road matches this coming weekend at Miami on Friday and at Florida State on Sunday.
