No. 8 MLAX Rallies Late To Down Bellarmine
March 26, 2022 | Men's Lacrosse
CHAPEL HILL – No. 8 North Carolina used an 8-0 run to end the game and earned the 15-8 victory over Bellarmine at Dorrance Field.
How it Happened
Postgame Thoughts
Head coach Joe Breschi's overall thoughts…
"Bellarmine did a good job executing their game plan for three quarters before we broke the ice in the fourth. We did great in the cage, with ground balls, and at the face-off. I loved the way we persevered throughout the game. It wasn't the prettiest three quarters, but we kept fighting and finished it up in the fourth quarter."
Chris Gray on his contribution to the team offensively…
"Yeah, it's always great to contribute on the offensive side of the ball. The best part about our offense is that each game it's a different guy, but today it happened to be me. At the end of the day, it's just a product of the system we play."
