WBB's Hodgson, Littlefield, Ustby Honored With Rammys

The Carolina women's basketball team picked up a few more wins at Carmichael on Monday night.
At the Rammy Awards, the annual Carolina Athletics awards show, sophomore Alyssa Ustby was named Female Breakthrough Athlete of the Year, in recognition of her standout season in 2021-22. Graduate students Eva Hodgson and Carlie Littlefield were named the Female Newcomers of the Year for their impact on the program in their first season in Chapel Hill.
Sophomore Deja Kelly was a nominee for Female Athlete of the Year and the team was nominated for Best Upset for the homecourt win over No. 3 Louisville.
UNC finished the 2021-22 season 25-7, reaching the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.
