CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Primed for another top-15 showdown, the No. 3 University of North Carolina women's lacrosse team travels to play No. 12 Notre Dame on Saturday, April 1. First draw is set for noon ET at the Arlotta Family Stadium in Notre Dame, Indiana.

The game will be broadcast nationally on ACC Network with Jay Alter and Sheehan Stanwick Burch on call.

In its last outing on March 26, the Tar Heels posted a 17-8 victory over No. 22 Clemson in Chapel Hill. Caitlyn Wurzburger led all scorers with six points followed by Marissa White with five. Sophie Student totaled a game-high eight draw controls.

Alecia Nicholas has been a force between the pipes this season. Her 7.77 goals-against average ranks fourth in the country while her .529 save percentage sits at fifth. The sophomore ranks second in the ACC in both categories.

This will be the 14th meeting between North Carolina (9-1, 5-0 ACC) and Notre Dame (7-3, 3-2) in history. The Tar Heels lead the all-time series at 12-1, including a 4-1 mark in Indiana.

UNC met ND twice during the 2022 campaign: a 15-7 win during the regular season and a 14-13 victory in the ACC semifinal. Wurzburger had three goals and one assist across both games, while Olivia Dirks and Nicole Humphrey had two goals apiece.
