Maye Throws Two Touchdowns In Spring Game

Chapel Hill, N.C. - North Carolina held its annual Spring Football Game on Saturday afternoon on Chris Smith Field at Kenan Stadium. Throughout the day, fans were able to see individual position drills, special teams reps and a live scrimmage. The live scrimmage portion of the day ended with a score of 13-3.

Scrimmage Notes

Quarterback Drake Maye went 3-of-4 for 27 yards on his first drive.
On the following drive, Myles Murphy and Kevin Hester Jr. collected a third down sack to end the drive for the offense.
In his second drive, Drake Maye found Tez Walker for the first score of the day on a 35-yard touchdown toss.
Defenders Gabe Stephens and Kaimon Rucker recorded back-to-back fourth down sacks for their defensive units.
In his fourth and final drive, Drake Maye found Nate McCollum for a 37-yard touchdown for his second touchdown throw of the day.
Maye finished the day 10-of-13 for 156 yards and two touchdowns.
Kellan Hood ripped off a 39-yard rush to begin the fourth quarter.
Jaybron Harvey recorded three sacks in the final quarter.
