Softball Travels To Raleigh For Three-Game Series At NC State

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - For the first time in more than three weeks, the Carolina softball team (20-25, 8-9 ACC) hits the road for an ACC series, traveling to NC State for a three-game matchup on April 21-23.

The Tar Heels will play the Wolfpack in Dail Softball Stadium at 6 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. Sunday. All three games of the series will be streamed on ACCNX.

NC State is 16-28 on the season with a 6-12 record in the ACC. Hannah Goodwin leads the Wolfpack at the plate with a .336 batting average and a .555 slugging percentage. Amanda Hassler has driven in a team-high 25 runs and Katlyn Pavlick has hit a team-best nine home runs.

In the circle, Madison Inscoe has pitched a team-high 105.1 innings with eight complete games and a 4.25 ERA. Aisha Weixlmann leads the Wolfpack with 82 strikeouts. NC State ranks No. 13 in the ACC in fielding (9.53 fielding percentage), pitching (5.41 ERA) and batting (.231 batting average).
