Softball Travels To Greensboro For Tuesday Midweek At UNCG

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Carolina softball team (14-24, 4-8 ACC) travels to Greensboro for a midweek matchup at UNCG (23-12) on Tuesday night. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. from UNCG Softball Stadium and will be streamed on ESPN+.

UNCG head coach Janelle Breneman spent six years (2004-2010) as an assistant coach under Donna Papa at UNC
UNCG assistant coach Kendra Kirkhoff is a Carolina Softball alumnus, playing for the Tar Heels from 2014-2017. She still ranks second in career slugging percentage, RBIs and home runs, fourth in total bases and ninth in walks
Alex Brown went 4-of-4 in the series finale victory at Virginia on Sunday. She is the second Tar Heel to record four hits in a game this season, when Isabela Emerling went 4-of-4 against Duke on March 17
Carolina is 6-4 in midweek games this season and 4-0 in Tuesday midweeks
