Men's Tennis Finishes 14th In 2023 ITA Rankings

The University of North Carolina men's tennis team finished 14th in the final 2023 ITA rankings, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced this week. It's the Tar Heels 10th consecutive top-15 national finish.
The Tar Heels (19-9) tied for third in the Atlantic Coast Conference standings and reached at least the NCAA Championship Round of 16 for a ninth consecutive time in 2023.
UNC hosted NCAA Championship matches in Chapel Hill for the ninth straight time in the NCAA Tournament, beating Drake and Utah at the Chewning Tennis Center before losing in the Sweet 16 at Texas.
Carolina is one of four ACC teams in the final top 20 for 2023. National champion Virginia was No. 1, Duke was No. 11, Carolina was No. 14 and Florida State was No. 20.
