Tar Heels Heading To Charlotte For ACC Tipoff Thursday

Head coach Hubert Davis, RJ Davis and Seth Trimble will be heading to Charlotte on Thursday morning to take part in the Atlantic Coast Conference's ACC Tipoff. The annual preseason media event will include players and coaches from all 18 ACC schools.

ACC Tipoff includes all the conference's men's and women's basketball teams and will run from Tuesday through Thursday. The Tar Heel men will take part on Thursday morning.

The attending media will vote on the preseason ACC poll, All-ACC teams and individual awards. The winners will be announced on Tuesday October 15 on ACC Network.

ACCN will be live from ACC Tipoff for expansive coverage from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The 24/7 national network dedicated to ACC sports will provide the event's most robust television coverage. Justin Walters, Taylor Tannebaum and Mark Packer will host daylong coverage from multiple sets beginning at 9 a.m. from the ACC basketball media days.

ACC Tipoff will feature interviews with head coaches, student-athletes, insiders and more across the Nothing But Net and ACC PM sets inside The Hilton Charlotte Uptown Tuesday-Thursday.
