Women’s Soccer Earns Fourth Seed In 2024 ACC Tournament

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina women's soccer has earned the fourth seed in the 2024 Ally Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament after finishing the regular season with 21 points behind a 7-3 record in league play.
The fourth-seeded Tar Heels will host fifth-seeded Virginia Tech on Sunday, Nov. 3, in the quarterfinals. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. ET at Dorrance Field in Chapel Hill and will air on ACC Network. Tickets are available for purchase here.
The winner will advance to the semifinals and face Duke on Thursday, Nov. 7, in Cary at WakeMed Soccer Park. The Blue Devils received a first-round bye after earning the No. 1 seed and winning the regular season title.
Seeking its 23rd ACC title in program history, Carolina owns 22 of the league's 36 championships and has appeared in the championship game 28 times. Its last championship crown came in 2019.
The Tar Heels have a 71-9-6 all-time record in the ACC Tournament.
